Clear Soap Base
Trade name: Claranol Transparent
This is a highly moisturising melt and pour Clear Soap Base producing a good lather and good clarity.
It is made by Kays of Ramsbottom, one of oldest soap manufacturers in the United Kingdom. This is the first soap base we stocked way back many years ago and it is still as popular as ever.
This is packaged either as a solid block which can be cut up into small chunks for melting either in a microwave or in a double boiler.
Points to remember when using a clear soap base
- do not overheat or you will remove the moisture from the soap
- test your fragrance in a small amount of soap base first as some fragrances can cause the base to go cloudy
- do not over stir as you be adding lots of air bubbles which will reduce the clarity
As with all our products it is not tested on animals and it is suitable for Vegetarians.
Packaged in either resealable tubs or buckets with large quantities always available from stock.
