Crystal White Soap Base
Trade name: Crystal WST
A melt and pour vegetable based soap base with added Titanium Dioxide to produce a very white base. It has good foaming and moisturising properties.
Because it is so white, it can be difficult to get a vivid colour so we would recommend you consider this base if you are looking to produce very pastel colours or simply leaving it as a white soap.
When adding fragrance, consider the colour of the fragrance oil as this may also colour the soap.
This is a very hard soap and has a higher melting point than other bases. Ensure you stir it well to mix the titanium in thoroughly or it may sink to the bottom of the bar.
As with all the Crystal bases we would recommend wrapping finished bars as soon as possible as they will attract moisture from the atmosphere.
