Opaque Soap Base
Trade name: Claranol Opaque
A highly moisturising melt and pour Opaque Soap Base producing a good lather and made by Kays of Ramsbottom, who also manufacture our Clear Soap Base. They are one of the oldest soap manufacturers in the United Kingdom and we have stocked their soap bases from the beginning.
The Opaque Soap Base is actually a clear base with Titanium Dioxide added at the last part of the manufacturing process. This gives it the whiteness.
It is an opaque base rather than a white base and is the most popular soap base that we stock as it is so versatile and when used with colour it can produce great end results. When you do add a colour, remember that the result will be a pastel colour.
It is not tested on animals and suitable for Vegetarians.
This is packaged as a solid block which can be cut up into small chunks for melting either in a microwave or in a double boiler.
