Sodium Bicarbonate also known as Bicarbonate of Soda

Sodium Bicarbonate is one of the key ingredients for making bath bombs.  Use it with Citric Acid as the base ingredients for making your own bath bombs in the ratio of 3 parts Sodium Bicarbonate to 1 part Citric Acid.

The chemical reaction between water, sodium bicarbonate and citric acid produces the fizz and bubbles when a finished bath bomb hits the water

Sodium Bicarbonate, like Epsom Salts, is one of those wonder products that has many uses.  It can be used for household cleaning for degreasing, scouring and odour absorption.  You will often see it being advertised as a fridge deodoriser.

It is reported that Sodium Bicarbonate was used to clean the inner copper walls of the Statue of Liberty in 1986 so you can see that it is not only for producing bath bombs and skin exfoliating products.

We supply Sodium Bicarbonate in 1kg and 25kg packs with larger quantities available from stock.
