Ordering with Us

What happens when I place an order?
After your order has been placed you will be sent an email confirming the order and giving you an order number. If you do not receive an email straight away, check that you pressed the CONFIRM button on the final checkout page.  We recommend you check this email confirmation carefully to ensure you have selected the correct products and most importantly, you have given us the correct shipping address with the correct postcode. If the delivery address is wrong and we have to get the parcel redirected due to your error, unfortunately there will be another delivery charge.  Please give us this order number if you have any queries. We're really sorry, but we are unable to change orders once they have been placed so please make sure you have all you need.  If you do find that you need something else, then feel free to place another order and we will combine the shipping for you - just let us know that you have done this so we can refund the second set of shipping.

When the payment is processed by Sage Pay the order is set to a PROCESSING state. This means your payment has been accepted, your order is with the warehouse and is being packed. When the order has been despatched, you will be sent an email advising you of this,  and giving the courier details and the courier consignment number for tracking the parcel. We give this information to help you if there are any problems with your delivery. If there is a query with your payment or address information we will only contact you by the email or the telephone number provided. All payments are handled by Sage Pay and we have no access to any card details.

We can only accept website or telephone orders and we are unable to accept email orders.

Can I ask for the parcel to be left with a neighbour?
Yes, if you wish to do so please leave the comment in the box when checking out, or give these instructions to the person taking your order on the phone.  Please be aware that the courier drivers do not have access to a phone so are unable to contact you directly.  You can also contact DPD to arrange to have your parcel left safe.
Can I collect my order from your warehouse?
Yes, just select the Collect from Warehouse option on checkout.  Collection hours are from 9am till 4pm Monday to Friday, simply ring us before you plan to collect so we can it ready for you. All orders will need to be paid for beforehand as we cannot accept payment at the warehouse.  We're sorry but we're not a shop so we are unable to allow visitors to wander around.
Do I have to pay VAT on the prices displayed?
All prices on the website show prices including and excluding VAT.  If you are outside the UK but within the EU and you have an EU VAT number please supply it at the time of ordering - only enter the number and NOT the country code. It must validate against the EC Taxation and Customs Union website and you will need to create an account rather than checkout as a Guest. Orders from outside the EU will not be charged VAT. If you are ordering from the Channel Isles, please select your country as either Jersey or Guernsey and the VAT will be automatically excluded.
Is it quicker if I place my order over the phone?
No. Orders placed over the internet ALWAYS take priority over telephone orders. While we are happy to take a telephone order please be aware that internet orders are always processed faster and phone orders can often take an extra 24 hours to process.   If you do place a telephone order, make sure you are given your order number for any future queries and if you give us your email you will receive an email confirmation plus the courier tracking information.
Do you have wholesale or trade prices?
We do not have specific wholesale prices as the whole website is aimed at the small manufacturer/business. Most products will have a discount for larger quantities.
Do you accept Purchase Orders?
Yes, we are happy to accept Purchase Orders for amounts over £50 (exclusive of shipping and VAT) from schools or LEAs. Simply send it via email to admin@justasoap.co.uk.  We will invoice the school direct. Terms are STRICTLY 30 days and goods remain the property of JUSTASOAP until paid for in full. Alternatively enter the order online and select Purchase Order as the payment method and then email your Purchase Order to admin@justasoap.co.uk.  We will not process any Purchase Orders unless we have received an official copy.

Do you have a minimum order?
We have a minimum order of £7.50 (excluding VAT and shipping) for online and £10 (excluding VAT and shipping) for telephone orders.
Is there free shipping?
For UK mainland there is free shipping on orders over £350 (excluding VAT) for the Economy service.
